NCD clinic
An NCD clinic is a facility that provides screening, diagnosis, and treatment for non-communicable diseases (NCDs). NCDs include cancer, diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and stroke. NCD clinics are established at Community Health Centers (CHCs) and District Hospitals. ome of the functions of an NCD clinic include: Screening for NCDs, Diagnosis and treatment of NCDs, Lifestyle management and diet counseling, Home-based care, and Comprehensive cancer care. The National Programme for Prevention and Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Stroke (NPCDCS) is a program that supports the establishment of NCD clinics. The program also includes opportunistic screening camps for NCDs at health facilities, and population-based screening camps for people over 30 years of age.
