With the objective of providing health services in Urban and Remote areas,the department provides medical services in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Jai Prakash Hospital,Bhopal on January 26, 1962 with a 330-bed hospital were established. Shri Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital, named in honor of the Jai Prakash Hospital.
J.P hospital Bhopal covering both indoor and outdoor patients and covering range of services provided by the hospital. To address the issue of out-of-pocket expenses several schemes have been followed by the Government for the benefit of the poor and to minimize the health related expenditure and suffering to the poor.
